This is the view of Wynnum-based tender consultant Daniel Oxley (pictured). Daniel has over 7 years experience preparing winning bids via tenders, grants and proposals. In this time, he has had exposure to a widely diverse range of businesses and industries. Similarly, he consults to all sizes of business (from SME clients, to multi-billion dollar companies) and on all types of opportunities, from simple EOIs (Expressions of Interest), to large tenders worth hundreds of millions of dollars).

“85% of federal government suppliers were classified as small to medium sized enterprise (SME) based on FY17/18 statistics.” explains Daniel, “Whilst this is true, only 18.2% of SMEs took part in tender opportunities. There is a huge push in all levels of government towards SME inclusion and that policy is, similarly, being pushed on top tier government suppliers. Tenders can be daunting, but the opportunities are endless.”

Daniel will be giving an online presentation at the next Wynnum Business Online Breakfast Briefing at 7.50am on Thursday 17th June, called ‘Tenders – What’s out there for you’ where he will be explaining how to go about finding out about tenders and how to apply for them.

This briefing will be held over Zoom and is open to anyone to attend. It is free of charge, however you do need to register to attend and to receive the Zoom meeting code. Book in here.
